Description
SEEKING HIGHLY MOTIVATED, DEDICATED, HARD WORKING INDIVIDUALS!!
-Candidate should have (BUT NOT REQUIRED We are willing to train the right candidates) a background in swimming pool construction and/or general construction.
-job is physically demanding..
-must be capable of working independently as well as part of a team, also punctual.
-must be able to READ,WRITE and SPEAK ENGLISH, and be able to complete time sheets, fill out forms, communicate with customers.
-must have a valid drivers license with CLEAN abstract, you will be asked to provide an abstract, and we will check your license. (KTPC WILL PAY FOR ABSTRACT IF REQUESTED)
-will be working outdoors the majority of the time, so candidate must be able to handle working in the heat or cold.
-WHMIS Training First Aid & CPR Are REQUIRED Certifications, ( IF YOU DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE VALID CERTIFICATION You will be required to obtain and maintain certification, ALL TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION IS PAID FOR BY KTPC of HIRED Candidates.
-reliable transportation or arrangement to and from work.
-candidate will be doing general construction on swimming pools, Assisting on service calls and will be given the opportunity to learn our Concrete Resurfacing Systems.
-Required paperwork (time sheets, reports)
-general daily maintenance of work vehicle and job site clean up.
-hours of work can vary from 35-60 hours per week (Flexible), opportunity for possibility of weekend work (NOT REQUIRED BUT MAY BE OFFERED)
-Safety equipment WILL BE REQUIRED!! Steel toe work shoes or boots are required! (KTPC Provides employees with a work boot or shoe allowance every 6 months for year round employees, once a year for seasonal. We will supply safety glasses, hearing protection etc…
-Wage is determined based on experience
Job Type: Full-time and Seasonal Positions Available
Pay Rate: Starting wage is $20.00 to $25.00 /hour based on EXPERIENCE!
FIRST Performance Review at 4 weeks of hire with hourly rate increase of up to $2 per hour
Follow-Up Performance Reviews Annually.
Qualifications
-Previous swimming pool installer experience beneficial but not required.
-Full drivers license with clean drivers abstract is required and you will be asked to provide abstract.
-1 year construction experience preferred but willing to train
-WHMIS, First Aid/CPR preferred but willing to provide training
